If your tuition fee payment was made by a third party on your behalf, and you request a refund, the refund will be issued to the credit card or bank account of the payer, not you. In this case, it is your own responsibility to make sure that you will be able to retrieve the funds from the third party in question. It is not possible to request the refund to be made to a different bank account.

Payment in case of changed/expired residence status in Denmark

If you are granted a permanent residence permit in Denmark/in an EU-country that becomes valid after 1 March (for the Spring semester) or after 1 October (for the Fall semester), you must still pay the tuition fee for the entire semester.

If your permanent residence permit becomes valid before 1 March in the spring semester or before 1 October in the autumn semester, you can contact us for a refund of the tuition fee you have already paid for that semester. You must submit valid documentation for your new residence permit.

If your residence permit becomes valid after these dates, the tuition fee cannot be refunded for that semester.

You are required to notify us if your residence permit changes, and you are no longer exempt from paying tuition fees. Starting from the next semester, you will have to pay a tuition fee.

If you are a non-EU/EEA student with a residence permit in the EU/EEA, but without EU/EEA citizenship, you cannot be exempted from paying tuition fees.
